WooCommerce engineering
Storefronts that stay fast under load, checkouts that do not lose orders, and integrations that do not need babysitting.
On a shop, everything has a price attached. An extra second on the catalogue page and a silently failing payment gateway are the same category of problem: revenue leaving through a gap nobody has measured.
Where I usually get called in
- Checkouts that fail intermittently, or complete without creating an order.
- Catalogue and search pages that collapse under load once the product count grows.
- Payment, shipping, tax and drop-shipping integrations that were built once and never maintained.
- Stock synchronisation with an external system that drifts out of true.
- Custom e-commerce builds where WooCommerce was heavily modified by someone who has since moved on.
Working with your team
Plenty of this work happens inside someone else’s process — sprint boards, code review, a designer and a marketing lead in the same channel. That is fine. I have worked in Agile teams through ClickUp and Jira and I am comfortable being the specialist rather than the owner.
